It would be beneficial to add a permission setting that allows Administrators to prevent users with the Sales Manager role from requesting a review on open orders. Alternatively, this access could be removed from the Sales Manager role altogether.
Currently, some Sales Managers are requesting reviews on open orders and making changes while bypassing the new signature requirement. Updated customer signatures are not always being requested after options or other changes are added, which can result in lost revenue because the customer did not sign the new contract reflecting the updated order pricing and could potentially dispute the new charges because the contract was not signed.
Additionally, changes are sometimes made after an order has been processed and the building has entered production. The production team may not be aware of these updates, which can cause errors and other production-related issues.
To prevent unauthorized changes, lost revenue, and production issues, the ability to request a review on open orders should be restricted for Sales Managers and available only to Administrators.
