An update on this - not exactly what the OP described, but our current implementation:
- Manage Views - users can setup a view on the Manage Order page that shows all of the orders with a Scheduled Delivery Date and with an Open status. This allows them to see the upcoming deliveries for all of their orders.
- Track Order - allows users and customers to follow the progress of the order.
- Notification Settings: Email and webhooks on fulfill order, with the ability to request a review included in the Fulfill Order email notification (next release will have the ability to use dynamic URLs for the review request).

Thanks for sharing! We don't have this exact functionality - but something pretty close coming out soon.

In addition to the OP's request I think it would be nice to have full control over the email notifications and when they get sent out based on status changes and/or manual actions. This would require more fields being available in the document templates and options to add a status or statuses. One scenario I can think of where this would be useful is notifying customers when their order is delivered to a dealer, with that dealer's contact info.
